Ringwood Hall Wedding, Chesterfield ♡ Liz & Ashley

Featuring Liz & Ashley’s lovely Wentworth Church & Ringwood Hall wedding in Chesterfield.

Liz & Ashley’s wedding took place in late April, starting off the day at Wentworth Church before moving onto Ringwood Hall. Despite the April showers throughout the day, it definitely didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits ☂💙

Bridal prep started at home, as Liz and her squad of girls got glammed up by the hairdressers and makeup artist. It was a fun morning, with giggles and the usual bit of hustle & bustle. Ashley meanwhile was soon to be arriving at Wentworth Church, ready to greet guests.

As the ceremony was about to begin, Liz pulled up with the bridal party in two beautiful, vintage wedding cars. The chauffeurs led her and her dad to the entrance of the church under a pair of white umbrellas, and they then made their way down the aisle to begin the ceremony. As it was a Christian ceremony there were plenty of hymns and readings from the pastor, before Liz & Ashley exchanged their vows, had their first kiss and posed for photos for their guests. We also improvised by taking a few group photos inside the church, as it was still raining quite heavily outside.

After a mini confetti throw outside Wentworth Church, sheltered underneath a couple of umbrellas, family, friends & the wedding party made their way to Chesterfield’s Ringwood Hall. Liz & Ashley’s pet French Bulldogs were waiting for them at the venue, and they looked SO cute. Their collars had been decorated with a wreath of white flowers, and they were just the sweetest little happy girls. I love it when people bring their pets along to their weddings 😁. They had a few photos with mum & dad, and played with a few guests (and me ofc), before going back home after their short but exciting day out.

The rest of the day at Ringwood Hall was composed of a yummy wedding breakfast, the speeches (during which the lads made each other well up, bless them), drinking, a fab wedding magician ✨ who went around entertaining guests, a photoshoot for the bride & groom after the rain had calmed, cutting of the cake, a sweet first dance and more dancing, drinking and having fun into the night.
