The hall has been home to several notable familes, including the Carey family who had links to Mary Boleyn and the Tudor court of Henry VIII. Today, the venue beautifully blends its historic charm and character filled surroundings with modern spaces designed for unforgettable weddings and civil ceramonies.

Nestled 6 miles to the south east of Sheffield, Mosborough Hall Hotel already serves as a pet friendly hotel for all types of well behaved animals and even have designated pet only rooms available. They just ask to let your registrar know in advance if your pet will be joining in on the celebrations!

2. Dronfield Hall Barn

Dronfield Hall Barn is a truly unique wedding venue full of history, charm, and character. It dates all the way back to 1430, and is thought to have connections to Lady Alice Deincourt, a figure from the 15th century who leased the Manor of Dronfield in this time period. In 2007 the Dronfield Heritage Trust was established to rescue and redevelop this Grade II listed medieval barn, preserving its incredible features and giving the building a new lease of life.

Sheffield Botanical Gardens is a truly magical choice for couples looking for a pet friendly wedding venue in Sheffield. Opened in 1836, ithas been a well loved part of the city for generations. Between the colourful plants and the glass pavilions, its 19 acres of complete romance.

Sasha has done many shoots at the Botanical Gardens, including an engagement photoshoot featuring a beautiful Ragdoll Cat named Winnie! Pets have always been welcome in the gardens as long as they are kept on a lead, so its truly a great choice for a wedding venue.

4. Whirlow Brook Hall

Set within a gorgeous 39 acres of grounds, Whirlow Brook Hall is an elegant and picturesque venue from the get go. Final thoughts on pet friendly venues…

I do want to preface that its always a good idea to double check with your desired venues that your pet will be allowed to join you. Unfortunately sometimes policies do change, so please make sure to double check before you book and set it in stone! Having said that, even if your desired venue doesnt explicitly mention a pet policy on their website, it is always a good idea to ask them. Many venues are happy to accomodate your pets, so there’s no harm in asking!
