A little look at Laura & Adam’s gorgeous Millennium Gallery & The Crucible Theatre wedding in Sheffield.

To describe Laura and Adam’s Sheffield wedding, it was definitely beautiful, unique and fun. The ceremony unusually took place at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre, with the wedding breakfast at the Millennium Gallery. There was a funky geometric theme that ran throughout, not to mention a blue cosmic wedding bouquet and lots of bubbles!
The day began with bridal prep at the Mercure Hotel & Spa. Laura looked gorgeous in a floor-length Martina Liana wedding dress and her hair elegantly tied in a bun, with a geometric shaped hair accessory finishing the look off perfectly.
It was a rainy June afternoon, with short bursts of sunshine and showers, but this honestly didn’t dampen anyone’s mood. In fact, my favourite photo of the day is of Laura and her brother walking through the rain from the hotel to the wedding venue. He’s sheltering her with his umbrella, and it’s a lovely natural shot.
The wedding ceremony was at the famous Crucible Theatre, an iconic Sheffield institution. It was a really unique choice, especially as Laura and Adam got married on stage! The most touching moment for me was Laura being walked down the aisle by both of her parents, rather just her dad, it was really sweet.
After the ‘I dos’ followed a confetti throw, but guests blew bubbles in a unique take on the tradition, which was really cute and something I’ve never seen before. We then moved on to the Winter Gardens, which is home to many exotic plants from across the world, before Laura and Adam’s wedding breakfast.
The Millennium Gallery was gorgeous, with lots of natural light flooding in from the windows. Everything just looked amazing, and so much effort was put into the geometric-themed decor. The wedding cake in particular was stunning.
I love the photos of the newlyweds having a brief moment to themselves and downing a couple of tequila shots. Laura seemed to enjoy it, but the look on Adam’s face is priceless!
We are so pleased with our choice of photographer for our special day. We loved the romantic, airy and natural style of Sasha’s photos. We thought it would work really well for our urban wedding at The Crucible Theatre and Millennium Gallery. We weren’t wrong! 10 hours of photography time meant the whole day was covered – from getting ready to getting down on the dance floor.
Sasha was easy to get in touch with and very organised in ensuring all was prepared for the big day. Her branding is on point. The USB package was just marvellous with LOADS of wonderful photos that captured the day perfectly. So if you’re looking for a talented, unique, friendly and professional photographer – you’ve found it in Sasha Lee Photography. Thank you so much Sasha. Lots of lovely love – Laura & Adam xxx
