Introducing Sarah & Olivia’s beautiful Liverpool The Shankly Hotel wedding.
○ What’s your love story?
Olivia and I met working at a Summer Camp in the USA, Fairview Lake, New Jersey. We have been together for 6 years and have been very happy throughout our relationship. Olivia joined the Army a few years ago, which was initially very hard, but we are happier than ever and she has had amazing opportunities living out in Germany, being on the Army Women’s football team, boxing team and Nordic ski team! She recently joined the Queens Guard and was stationed at Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London and Windsor Castle. We love to travel together and have enjoyed travelling the USA, Europe, Bermuda, Thailand, Bali and Singapore. We fully support each others dreams and aspirations and can’t wait for our big day!
○ Why did you choose The Shankly Hotel?
We had originally planned to get married in the USA. However after viewing the The Shankly Hotel, as a potential spot for a small family post-wedding celebration, we instantly knew it was our venue. It is beautiful, but fun and vibrant! Olivia and her family are from Liverpool. Our first home together was also in Liverpool.
○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?
Relaxed, but beautiful and full of fun, celebrations and reunions.
○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?
My love is your Love – Whitney Houston (Sang by our acoustic singer, Jade Gallagher).
○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Seeing each others dresses and spending the day with everyone we love.
○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:
Beautiful, fun, vibrant.
○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?
To capture the small moments and emotions.
○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?
Don’t sweat the small stuff, write to-do lists and stick to your budget!
