Introducing the kind, funny and wonderful Michael & Sophie. This twosome tied the knot at The Oak Tree of Peover in Cheshire on a typically English day filled with intermittent sunshine and showers. A little light rain on the big day didn’t dampen anyone spirits though. Everyone played with the outdoor wedding games, which included a coconut shy, tug-of-war, hit the piñata, giant Jenga and lots more.

The Oak Tree of Peover wedding blended two traditions, and acknowledged both Michael & Sophie’s Chinese/English backgrounds. The day started off with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Family members gathered to chat, drink tea and give advice and gifts to the newly-weds. This was followed by a more traditional English ceremony with a white wedding gown and vows to one-another. It was a lovely way to celebrate the day and tie in both Chinese and English traditions at a wedding, and had plenty of smiles throughout.
