○ What’s your love story?

We first met in October 2013 while working together coaching sports to young children. Over the last 5 years we have grown together from living in two different cities, buying our first home and extending our family to include two doggies, Locky & Reggie. On 25th December 2017, we got engaged. It was just the two of us, in our first home, on our first Christmas together. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives as husband and wife surrounded by family and friends, making lots more memories.

○ Why did you choose St. John’s Church & Hazel Gap Barn as your wedding venues?

A church ceremony was very important to us and we wanted to be surrounded the countryside, so somewhere around Sherwood forest was ideal. We love both the church and Hazel Gap Barn for the views. Beautiful buildings and very friendly people who welcomed us from the very beginning.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

The style has a traditional but relaxed vibe about it, with a big party to celebrate at the end!

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

Our first dance is ‘Rather be’, as we have had this song ever since we first met.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Being pronounced as Mr & Mrs Aston for the first time in front of our family and friends.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Love, laughter, family.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

Because we want to be able to look back on our wedding day and remember it for exactly how it was. And to see the tiny details and the true expressions of our family and friends as they join us for the best day our lives .

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Don’t worry about the little things, you are marrying your best friend and nothing else should matter.
