Lauren & Chris wedding took place on a chilly March day at The Fishpond in Matlock Bath. Pre-wedding ceremony prep’ was underway at a nearby cottage, as Lauren got glammed up into bridal attire. Meanwhile, Chris had made his way to The Fishpond ready to greet arriving guests.

Matlock Bath’s The Fishpond is a lovely and cosy venue set right in the heart of the town. Wedding guests soon filled up the seats in the ceremony room, ready to watch Lauren & Chris make their vows. The ceremony was super sweet! Lauren had her dark brown hair swept into an up-do and topped off with a pretty veil. She also wore a beautiful silver necklace, and striking red lipstick which complimented the attire Chris wore perfectly.

After the ceremony, guests lined up ready to shower the newlyweds with confetti. We took a little time afterwards to take some group photos up the stairs outside the venue, which overlooked Matlock Baths, making for a beautiful backdrop. Afterwards, Lauren, Chris & I had a leisurely stroll around the town – of course taking photos along the way. We even popped into an amusements for a go on the penny slots and grabbing machines. The newlyweds actually managed to win something – a ridiculously cute pug toy!

After the shoot, exploring and playing, Lauren & Chris returned to join their guests with the celebrations. The rest of the evening was spent enjoying a yummy meal followed by speeches, more celebratory drinks, the cutting of the cake and the first dance. Such a lovely day with this fun couple!
