“During our wedding day you hardly realised Sasha was there, she made everyone feel at ease when having their picture took and was so helpful. We were so overwhelmed when we received our pictures as they were so beautiful and natural- exactly what we wanted.”

○ What’s your love story?

We met at school, got engaged last year in 2020 and have been together for 7 years.

○ Why did you choose Van Dyk Hotel as your wedding venue?

The venue was perfect, modern and really thought out when hosting weddings.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Modern and relaxed, nothing too fancy.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

I am walking down the aisle to Fleetwood Mac – Songbird as its one of my favourite songs. Our first dance is to Ed Sheeran – Tenerife Sea as that’s mine and Dave’s favourite artist and song.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Just being happy and in love surrounded by family and friends.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Family, friends & love.

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Just enjoy being engaged, don’t get too caught up in the planning of the wedding – have the day you want not what other people have or want.

From the beginning when enquiring to us receiving our pictures, Sasha was brilliant-so professional and communicated with us the whole time. During our wedding day you hardly realised Sasha was there, she made everyone feel at ease when having their picture took and was so helpful. We were so overwhelmed when we received our pictures as they were so beautiful and natural- exactly what we wanted.
