○ What’s your love story?

We finally got together in March 2014 after initially chatting on good old Tinder! I decided Luke wasn’t interested so stopped talking to him until we saw each other on a night out and then we never stopped talking again! Luke proposed in May 2017 whilst we were on holiday in Lisbon, of course I said yes!!

○ Why did you choose Wood Lane Countryside Centre?

We both grew up outside of Sheffield but we have lived here all of our adult lives. So we wanted to invite our family and friends to celebrate our marriage in the place we call home.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

We wanted a more casual vibe to reflect our personalities with little details special to us as a couple. Especially so with our food – Portuguese tarts with welcome drinks from our engagement in Portugal and pie for dinner just like our first date!

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

My grandad is walking me down the aisle, and with his love of Elvis Presley we will be walking to Falling in love with you. Our first dance will be to Baby I’m yours by the Arctic Monkeys – simple and meaningful with another nod to our shared hometown.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Having all our family and friends together in one place to celebrate with us. This rarely happens as everyone lives in different cities.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Memorable. Funny. Emotional.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

I love the idea of all those special moments that we would usually miss being captured for us to see and keep.

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Try to organise things in advance and don’t get too caught up in the little costly details that on the day don’t really matter so much. Make a wedding website, it’s free and way more economical than paper invitations.
