○ What’s your love story?

We met on Tinder nearly 7 years ago and had our first date at The York in Broomhill and from that point Dane knew he would never escape me! LOL. But seriously I did go home after the date and tell my housemate Jess (one of our bridesmaids) that I was going to marry him. We got engaged at Curbar Edge in December 2018 and had planned to originally get married on 23rd May 2020… before Covid struck!

○ Why did you choose Sheffield Town Hall as your wedding venue?

We chose the The Mirror Room as it’s such a lovely space. Originally we were having our reception at Manor Lodge but with the Covid restrictions, we have ordered takeaway Afternoon Tea from the Rhubarb Shed. Which is what we should been having for our original wedding breakfast back in May at Manor Lodge!

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Fun & relaxed.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

At Last – Etta James (it literally has been ‘at last’ after Covid postponing our original date!) and You’re the Best Thing – The Style Council which was Charlotte’s parents first dance and a song we’ve always liked.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Getting married and celebrating with our family! It’s felt like a long time coming.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Memorable, romantic and intimate.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

It will remind us of the day as it was. Equally neither Dane or I are fans of being in front of the camera so this seemed like a great way to capture our day.
