“On the day Sasha came and was so lovely and calm, which helped calm me as we had a little hiccup at our venue just before Sasha arrived. She is also very non intrusive, I had actually forgotten she was there a lot of the time, which is amazing for my husband and I as we are not the best in front of a camera! The photographs came out absolutely beautiful!”

○ What’s your love story?

Ryan is my first and only boyfriend I’ve ever had. Our friends set us up at age 15, we fell in love and we have been together ever since – 12 years. We have 3 beautiful children together. Ryan proposed on Christmas day 2018, with just us and the children there (Christmas is my absolute favourite time of the year, and he knew I wouldn’t of liked lots of people there when he proposed). So to me it was so so perfect!

○ Why did you choose Whitley Hall as your wedding venue?

We loved the look of the back of the house with all the ivy, and the gardens are beautiful.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

I’m not sure it has one. I love so many styles so I’ve incorporated that into the wedding. It is shabby chic and rustic, with a little bit of glam/classy, if that makes sense?

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

We are having a harpist and she is playing Christina Perri, A Thousand Years. With me and Ryan being together so young, we went to the cinema to see most twighlights and we loved them as teens (still do) so it reminds us of the early days! My mum also loves that song!

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

The Ceremony and putting the rings on each others fingers and finally becoming husband and wife.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Filled with love.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

It captures the pure, true emotions. People laughing, crying etc… The things you can’t fake in a posed image, that’s what I want my wedding album filled with!

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Have fun with it. Plan it the way you and your partner want, not what you think every one else wants, or ‘should do.’
