Chevin Country Park Hotel Wedding, Otley ♡ Terri & Adam

A little look at Terri & Adam’s super fun Chevin Country Park Hotel wedding in Leeds.

A sunny mid-July day welcomed the wedding of Terri & Adam, who got married at Yorkshire’s Chevin Country Park Hotel, a beautiful venue set in Otley. Chevin Country Park Hotel has a really Alpine feel, with it’s birch forest surroundings and log cabin set up. Terri & Adam chose this woodland venue as they stayed there on their one year anniversary, and in their own words “kinda got engaged in the restaurant by shaking hands” 😆.

The theme of the day was rustic and woodland, with hints to the couple’s shared love of mountain biking dotted throughout venue.

Terri began her bridal prep at the venue itself, accompanied by a few of her nearest & dearest and their pet border collie. The platinum haired bride had her hair loosely curled and left down, with a small up-do detail at the back, topped off with some white flowers and a veil. She wore a beautiful long, white, classic gown, adding her own twist on the traditional look with some white Vans trainers.

The happy couple exchanged personal cards to one another that could be opened and read on the morning of the wedding day, which was really sweet. Soon came the ceremony, and Adam waited eagerly to see his bride-to-be walking down the aisle. Opting to not have any readings, the ceremony was short but really nice & touching. The newlyweds enjoyed a swift glass of bubbly and bottle of Sol before making their way outside for some couple photos. We went for a little walk around the woodland area, which both smelt and looked amazing, taking some beautiful and natural photos along the way.

The ceremony room had been decked in white, with a rustic touch. The table names were named after mountain bike parks that the couple love, paying homage to how they first met. The seating plan had everyone laughing – Terri & Adam had scoured deep into people’s Facebooks to find embarrassing photos 😆. After a yummy wedding breakfast, a few speeches were given before everyone made their way outside for a few drinks in the warm summer evening.

Instead of having a first dance just together later in the evening, Adam & Terry opted for a first dance with all of their family and friends, which was a great idea. Everyone had fun dancing with one another, and there was even a bit of karaoke later on, which is always a good laugh. This couple were so chill and so much fun, these feels radiated throughout the whole day. 👏
