○ What’s your love story?

We met at Norwich medical school! We actually first met in 2013 during Fresher’s week, but basically ignored each other until 3 years later when we were in the same study and placement group! We bonded over talking about music and became good friends first, and then finally started going out in 2017. We first told each other we loved each other at a The Darkness concert, so when Ian proposed he got a cameo from the lead singer Justin Hawkins to be played first, which was very cool!

○ Why did you choose Colwick Hall Hotel as your wedding venue?

We really liked the look of it, and loved the ballroom and gardens!

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

We want it to be chill, fun, and for everyone to have a good time!

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

I’m walking down to an acoustic cover of ‘I believe in a thing called love’ by the Darkness, for the reasons mentioned above! And our first dance song is a cover of ‘can’t take my eyes off you’ by Muse as that’s one of our favourite bands too.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Being able to be with all our family and friends at the same time!

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Happy, romantic and fun.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

We think it captures the actual feeling/vibes of the day much better! Plus we don’t want to spend 2 hours of the day standing around doing photos lol

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Make a spreadsheet of everything because it’s so hard to keep track of all the stuff you need to do and payments etc!
