Masson Farm Wedding Matlock ♡ Anna & Andrew

A look at Anna & Andrew’s gorgeous Handsworth Methodist Church & Masson Farm wedding in Matlock.

Anna and Andrew’s wedding took place in the summer, and what a day to remember! It all began with bridal prep at Anna’s before heading to Handsworth Methodist Church in Sheffield. She wore a beautiful white, lacy dress with a gorgeous flower crown in her hair, and the bridesmaids were in pale blue, floor-length gowns. Everyone looked stunning.

The ceremony was lovely, especially as the church was so bright – perfect for taking natural photos. After the ‘I dos’, all the guests bundled into a coach and made their way to Masson Farm, in the rolling hills near Matlock, Derbyshire. Meanwhile me, Andrew and Anna took the Abraham Heights cable car route. This was definitely my favourite memory from the day – it was lots of fun taking photos of the newly weds, especially as the views were so dramatic and breathtaking.

We walked the rest of the way through the countryside – Anna wearing her mint-coloured wellies – to meet the other guests. It was then I saw this the great big tipi in the grounds, surrounded by bunting, flowers and acres of field and woodland. It was a very secluded and special spot.

I love the confetti throw shots, which is always fun, and this was followed by food, drinks and some heartfelt speeches. The bridesmaids’ ones were particularly hilarious (put it this way – it wasn’t just the best man humiliating the groom, lol!) Then it was onto lots of dancing, under the twinkly fairy lights, lasting well into the night.

My favourite photos are the ones of Anna and Andrew walking past nosey cows in the field 🙂 – it was great that they got to spend some quality time together on the day. Being from Handsworth myself, it was nice to take a trip down memory lane, and because I know the bride and a lot of the other bridesmaids from school, it was like a little reunion! Super fun.
