○ What’s your love story?

Sean made the first move by messaging me on Plenty of Fish, whilst I was at my sisters hen do. We’re from the same home town area and even though we each know the same friends, we had never met. My sister described Sean as a Labrador, energetic and always happy to see you, she wasn’t wrong! We bought our first house and then made the decision of our lives – we got our pup Cobo! From this point, I knew Sean was stuck with me; so I pestered him every day to propose already. He eventually popped the question in Iceland on a family holiday and somehow caught me by surprise.

○ Why did you choose Whitley Hall Hotel?

My Grandad has taken me for Sunday lunch many a times at Whitley; from the first trip there I knew it would make the perfect venue. When Sean proposed we booked a visit within the next fortnight, he was easily persuaded… by the buffet chicken wings.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

In a brief summary, woodland. We love the Rural woodland walks with our pup and it best reflects us. We have collected pine cones from all over, to make everything that little extra personal.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

Two weeks to go and I still have no idea!? Our first dance will be You & Me by Lifehouse. We absolutely love the lyrics and it was an easy decision to make.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Sean “putting a ring on it.” We also can’t wait to spend time with friends and family. As everyone is quite spread out from Scotland down to Guernsey.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Fun, drunk & romantic!

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

It’s more realistic and you catch the true moments rather than the posed pictures.

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Don’t make an origami flower wall!!

○ Would you recommend having an engagement photoshoot?

Yes, Sean loved the experience which shocked us both.
