○ What’s your love story?

We met online during Lockdown on Plenty of Fish. When restrictions did lift a little he persuaded me to meet him for a walk around our local Lake (I was hesitant and happy with my 2 cats) and the rest was history. We clicked pretty instantly, I knew Joe’s brother from years before and it turned out our parents lived on the same housing estate, he also loved cats (we went on to get a new fur baby to add to the clan) our family’s instantly clicked and my dad gained a new Golf Buddy. We both seemed to be looking for the same things and it came unexpectedly! We will have been together just about three years when the wedding comes around but when you know you know 🙂

○ Why did you choose The Cove at Robin Hood’s Bay as your wedding venue?

We had our first weekend away in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay and we find ourselves constantly revisiting most free weekends that we can its very much our happy place and know its a place we will take our children if we have a family in future so it felt like the perfect spot to tie the knot. When we did find the Cove we just loved how much of a hidden Gem it is and we loved how passionate Richard and Ange the owners are about the place. They have gone above and beyond with us so far to help organise the wedding (they also recommended Sasha!)

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Boho and some what casual. We don’t want a super formal wedding. It’s a come along and have a good time, sit where you want get drunk and dance vibe!

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

We aren’t entirely sure yet and cant seem to make a decision! Most likely Edith Whiskers – Home on the way in because we just love it and maybe Paulo Nutini – Through the Echos for the first Dance. We are leaving the chapel to the Kinks – You really got me because its a good vibe and my dad fetched me up with a love for the Kinks!

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

We are laughing at this question because I instantly thought the pizzas so I asked Joe and he said ” The Food”… Clearly getting married for the right reasons here! Jokes aside just the whole day and the fact it’s in Robin Hoods Bay with our close friends and Family.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Sunshine (praying for it with the views), laughs and making memories.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

I’m a slightly socially anxious person at times! When someone asks me to take a photo I instantly become quite conscious of myself so I love that you can be yourself and the day can be captured naturally the photos just seem to capture the day better <3

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Chill! You hear of people getting so stressed and we have really made a conscious effort to make sure we didn’t do that. It’s easy to lose sight of the reason you are actually there and what’s important. As long as the bride and groom are there the rest will fall into place.

We really wanted some lovely beach photos and they came out perfectly. Thank you Sasha for getting us the perfect photos on our day and being so lovely too. We felt at ease and couldn’t recommend Sasha more!”
