Phoenix Grey ♡ Fun Baby & Family Photoshoot, Chesterfield

When Flixx & Sian approached me this April and asked about having a baby photoshoot in Chesterfield for their new little boy Phoenix Grey, I was soooo happy! I’ve been alongside this gorgeous and creative couple twice before with my camera, for both their Sheffield Botanical Gardens engagement photoshoot and Chester Crabwall Manor wedding. It really is such a privilege to be there to document important landmarks in peoples’ lives, so to be asked to do it a third time is really quite amazing.

The baby photoshoot took place in Chesterfield in the comfort of Flixx & Sian’s home. Since it was a crisp, sunny morning, we made the most of it by having some photographs in the garden. Phoenix Grey is just the sweetest young boy – so beautiful, smiley and happy. We had fun taking photographs with him in the tipi with his little collection of toys. Since Phoenix was so little at the time, mum & dad did actually have to help prop him up, so I could get a few quick shots of him sitting alone before he eventually tumbled back over onto the blanket, bless him.

It was a fun, light-hearted shoot, and Phoenix was so sweet throughout. It was really lovely to shoot with mum & dad again – they’re just naturals in front of the camera. Here are a handful of the photos from this relaxed and fun photoshoot with baby…
