○ What’s your love story?

We met working at the same school together and became a couple after I spontaneously joined Scott for 3 weeks of his 5 week trip to Thailand. While there, we realised we really enjoyed each other’s company and we became a couple. After 6 years together, buying a house and getting our naughty dog, Eric, Scott proposed while we were walking round looking at the lights at Manchester Christmas market.

○ Why did you choose Aston Hall Hotel as your wedding venue?

It seemed to be popping up everywhere we looked, so we booked an appointment to look round and loved it!

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Thailand since that’s where it all began! Not in your face but we have lots of little touches popping up.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

Walking down the aisle to live bagpipes – Highland Cathedral – I’m from Scotland and wanted a little taste of home on the day.

First dance is Sweat (A La La La La) by Inner Circle – Definitely not a traditional song but it was playing everywhere when we were in Thailand and takes us back to that time together.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Getting married!! Spending time with friends and family and just having fun together.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Relaxed, fun and colourful.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

If something you want is important to you both as a couple go for it, if you are doing it because you feel you have to – leave it!

○ Would you recommend having an engagement photoshoot?

100%, we feel so much more relaxed about taking pictures on the wedding day and the whole process after the engagement shoot. You made us so comfortable and the whole experience was more relaxed and fun than we anticipated (even in the pouring rain).
