○ What’s your love story?

We are a Bumble romance, we met in London where Dan is from and Kate had just moved a year before. We decided together to get engaged, but Dan picked the location and Kate didn’t know until we got there. We got engaged in Hyde Park in the same spot we a picnic for one of our first dates. We actually got married in 2020 in Brent Civic Centre in Wembley near where Dan’s family live with just 15 guests, everyone social distanced and in masks. Afterwards we had some champagne in the garden outside, the whole thing was over in 2 hours.

○ Why did you choose Whirlowbrook Hall as your wedding venue?

We chose Whirlowbrook Hall as it has such beautiful grounds and since most of our family are travelling from London or from abroad to be there we wanted somewhere that had that beautiful green Sheffield feel. We now live nearby so it will always be a beautiful place to come for a walk with our daughter and remember the wedding day.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Having everyone together in one place. After getting married during the pandemic with so many important people missing it feels important to us to celebrate with everyone we love. Also seeing our daughter enjoy the day with her whole extended family.
