Just outside of the city centre, the gardens offer an incredibly romantic setting for couples who desire an elegent yet relaxed place for their special day.
The gardens were first made in 1836 designed by landscape gardener Robert Marnock, and today cover around 19 acres of land. Many of the original idea’s behind his designs are still very much a part of the gardens today! With whimsical winding paths, open lawns, mature trees and gorgeous flowers, it is truly a magical venue especially for those who love nature. Whilst the historic glass pavillions add enourmous character, its a place where you can appreciate both architecture and natural beauty. The gardens give you a beautiful backdrop without needing lots of extra decoration, and the Pavilion offers a light filled setting for your ceremony. Its a licensed wedding venue with the option of using the west lawns as a marquee rectiption, so there’s plenty of scope to create a celebration that feels personal to you!
