○ What’s your love story?

We met on that most romantic of platforms, Tinder. We were both a bit lost at the time, Lee needed someone to get him out of the house and Esther needed someone to keep her in it. We knew we’d fallen in love when being together felt more like home than being apart did. Nearly four years later we own a house (& home) together.

○ Why did you choose Hazlewood Castle as your wedding venue?

We could say it’s because it’s a beautiful historic location, and because getting married in a castle is unquestionably cool, and because there’s lots of little rooms to hide in when we get overwhelmed, and because they really seem to know what they’re about with weddings. All of this is true but they also have a hidden door behind a bookshelf in the library, which was the clincher.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Autumnal. We both reach full power in autumn.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

We struggled because we have very different music tastes that we’re very passionate about, so the music choices reflect the bits where we overlap.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

Capturing the feel of a moment is always going to be more emotive and authentic than staging it. We’re so looking forward to getting the pictures and not quite knowing what they’ll be of, it’s like reliving the day over again.

○ Any advice for future brides & grooms planning their day?

Emphasis on the *your* day. Figure out what you can’t picture the day without and plan around that. Also have fun, you’re planning a party.
