○ What’s your love story?

We first met when Scott was a student at Doncaster Deaf College and Joanna was visiting her friends at same area. We found out that Joanna and Scott only lived 10-15 minutes away from each other – Joanna lived in Thorne and Scott lived in Goole. A few months later, Joanna and Scott started their relationship and got pregnant shortly after a two month relationship, a lovely surprise!

July 2009, Rosie Leah was born, Joanna and Scott’s first child and they got their own place in October 2009 and started making new memories in their new home.

In June 2012, our other child was born, called Harry John named after Joanna’s grandfathers.

In January 2020, (before lockdown) Scott proposed to Joanna in Florence, Italy near the famous bridge called Ponte Vecchio. That was a beautiful moment as it was night-time.

○ Why did you choose Dome Beach Hotel as your wedding venue?

Joanna always want a beach wedding and we’ve both been Cyprus at different times.

○ What is the style/theme/vibe of your wedding?

Vintage/Italian/Sunflowers with palm leaves.

○ What music are you walking down the aisle to / first dance and why?

Somewhere over the Rainbow – Israel Kamakawiwo – I love the lyrics.

○ What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Celebrating and also getting the last name to fit in with the whole family as I am the odd one out.

○ Describe your ideal wedding day in 3 words:

Beach, casual and BBQ.

○ Why do you like natural wedding photography?

Just love to see those captures in reality and share their real emotions.
