Peak District Proposal Photographer ♡ Rahul & Rhea’s Surprise Proposal at Curbar Edge

Some moments are worth remembering forever, and Rahul’s surprise proposal to Rhea at Curbar Edge was definitely one of them.

Rahul chose Curbar Edge for a very thoughtful reason, in that Rhea is a huge Pride and Prejudice fan, and the dramatic Peak District landscape is often associated with the film adaptation. It felt like the perfect place for such a special question.

With incredible views across the countryside and beautiful evening light, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect! After a walk along the edge, Rahul got down on one knee and asked Rhea to marry him, to which she of course said yes.

One of the things I love most about photographing proposals is capturing genuine reactions as they happen. There’s no posing, no pressure, just real emotion and a huge milestone in a couple’s story.
