Cat & Liam ♡ Engagement Photoshoot at Shillito Woods

When Cat first got in touch, she told me that she and Liam had recently become engaged and wanted to capture this special chapter of their lives together. Living in Sheffield and spending lots of time exploring the Peak District, they knew they wanted an outdoor engagement session with a cosy, autumn-to-winter feel.

Fast forward to a crisp November morning, and we met at Shillito Woods in the Peak District. The weather couldn’t have been more fitting for the season – bright blue skies, golden light filtering through the trees, and that late-autumn chill in the air. One of those beautiful days that feels fresh and invigorating, despite us all being left with chill fingers!

As we wandered through the woodland paths, Cat and Liam quickly settled into the session, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and simply spending time together. The remaining autumn colours, paired with the soft winter sunlight, created the perfect backdrop for their engagement photographs.

These sessions are an opportunity to slow down, celebrate a milestone, and create memories together before the excitement of wedding planning takes over. Cat and Liam brought so much warmth and laughter to a very cold day, and it was a joy to document this exciting moment in their story.
