4 Perfect Proposal Location Ideas for Your Special Person ♡

Finding the perfect proposal location can be overwhelming to say the least. After all, the location you choose will be a part of your love story forever… A story that will be told and retold for years to come… well, no pressure, right?

Not knowing where to begin is natural and its totally understandable to feel overwhelmed. So i’m putting together a little blog to help guide you in the right direction!

But first…

What Makes The Perfect Proposal Location?

This question will be answered differently by just about everyone. For some, the perfect proposal location may be on a beach abroad, for others it might be a picnic in the park, and some may even want it in the comfort of their home. You really need to think about your partner, the type of person they are and what you think they would like. If they’re a super private person or get embarrassed easily… proposing infront of a 200 person crowd may be a bit overkill. Consider their personality, the things they enjoy, and think back to any not-so-subtle hints they may have dropped. You know your partner best, so take everything into consideration.

So, here are just a few ideas for locations to help you along the way…

♡

1. Somewhere With a Special View at Sunset

Sunset proposals are super popular for a reason. There is something so romantic about watching the sun set with the person you love, as the golden light touches your skin and the wind gently flows through your hair. Whether you’re on the beach, on a mountain, or in the middle of meadow in a private spot, the warm evening colours make the perfect backdrop for a proposal.

Tip: Once you have found your perfect proposal location, you can check the sunset times for that location in advance online, i would reccomend the sunrise-sunset website! You can also check google to find out what times that location are most busy so you can plan accordingly.

2. Somewhere You’ve Both Always Dreamed of Visiting

If there’s somewhere you’ve both always wanted to visit, why not make your proposal part of the adventure? It could be a city you’ve been dreaming of exploring, a beautiful beach at home or abroad, or even a famous landmark. Don’t worry about finding the perfect or most Instagram worthy destination. The place itself doesn’t have to be famous, what matters is that you’re experiencing it together as a couple. After all, from the moment you pop the question, that place will have a pretty special story of its own.

3. The Place You Had Your First Date

You could also just… go back to where it all began! Your first date is already a special memory, so returning to the same place to propose can make the moment even more meaningful. Whether it was a cosy restaurant, your favourite coffee shop, the cinema, a park, or somewhere a little more unusual, it’s a place that already means something to both of you and is already a part of your love story.

4. Somewhere Connected to Their Hobbies

Think about the things you both genuinely enjoy doing together. Maybe you’re always heading out for a walk, going to parks, boating on lakes, exploring new places, going to museums, watching live shows, or even finding new little cafés and restaurants. Choosing a place that already feels like you as a couple can make the moment much more personal. It doesn’t have to be the most beautiful or impressive location you can find, sometimes, it’s the places where you’ve had the most fun together that makes the best memories!

So, Where IS The Perfect Proposal Location?

It’s somewhere that feels like you as a couple. It’s somewhere you can both enjoy, take in the moment, and look back on years from now with a big smile. There’s no one size fits all answer when it comes to finding the perfect proposal location. For some couples, it might be somewhere beautiful and romantic, while for others, it could be somewhere completely ordinary that holds a very special memory.

The most important thing is that it feels right for both of you. After all, you’re not just choosing a place to propose you’re choosing the setting for a moment you’ll probably be talking about for the rest of your lives. So whether you decide to recreate your first date, discover somewhere new together, or choose a place that already means the world to you, there really is no wrong answer.

Thanks so much for joining me here on the blog, good luck & i’ll see you in the next one!
