Photography is one of my biggest loves in life, and I am fortunate enough to have been doing this for the past 10 years. If I can capture something genuine with my lens then I’m happy. For me, it’s all about romantic documentation rather than structured shots.

That includes trying to capture the real light, glow, energy, colours and atmosphere of the moment too. A bride once told me that she felt like her photos were so soft & lifelike that she could jump back into them, and that was honestly one of the best compliments I’ve ever received.

My attitude reflects my photojournalistic style. I can manage groups and give gentle direction during couple portraits to ease you in, no problem. But I also do love the captures that come from observing and being unintrusive – essentially letting people be themselves enjoying the day, and capturing real memories from there.

On a more personal level, I live in Sheffield with my hubby, with a little chunk of life spent living in Japan. I love the seaside, stars, pastel colours, blossom trees, milky tea, spicy foods, theme parks, horror movies, bubble tea, animals, reading, riding my bike and dancing. ✨
