Vikki & Andy tied the knot on a sunny August day at Sheffield venue Whitley Hall. The day began at bridal prep as Vikki was pampered by hair & makeup, all the while rocking some AMAZING avocado pyjamas 🥑. The finished look featured very natural makeup, a gorgeous up-do with a tiara and veil and a beautiful, floor-length, white gown.
Andy had been welcoming guests downstairs, before everyone eagerly made their way into the ceremony room. Soon after, Vikki walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Blink 182’s First Date (Andy’s favourite band!) Andy’s reaction to seeing his bride-to-be was so sweet, as he welled up with tears of happiness. A truly special moment, which followed into a special and touching ceremony.
Afterwards, everybody made their way outside to enjoy some drinks under the sunshine. Vikki, Andy & I took a short 15 minutes out to snap some lovely bride & groom photos around the Whitely Hall grounds. In this time, the ceremony room had been transformed into the wedding breakfast area. Decorated in lots of creams, whites and fairy lights, it had a very sweet yet traditional feel to it.
After being seated and finishing a delicious meal, it was time for the speeches. There were so many funny and loving moments, resulting in lots of laughter and happy-tears. Vikki’s dad even gifted his new Star Wars avid son-in-law with a 3ft-something storm trooper! The entire wedding party seemed to have a lovely evening, drinking under the sunshine, tucking into the sweetie cart and dancing alongside the new Mr & Mrs.
