Stacey & Graeme’s wedding was on a British summer’s day at Rufford Park Golf. This lovely venue is set in the heart of Sherwood Forest, with acres of beautiful green grounds.
The day began a short drive down the road in Ollerton at Hop Pole Hotel. Bridal prep’ was underway, as Stacey and her bridal team got glammed up in their matching dressing gowns. Stacey wore a beautiful, long, white, traditional gown, while her bridesmaids were dressed in peachy pinks. Meanwhile, Graeme made his way to Rufford Park Golf to make finishing touches and greet arriving guests.
Shortly later the ceremony began. It was a lovely collection of moments, especially as a couple of guests gave readings, making it all the more personable. Afterwards, everyone flooded outside for drinks under the hot sunshine. We took a bunch of group photos, before moving onto the bride & groom shoot. I got driven down in a bumpy golf buggy by the manager on site while Graeme followed behind driving his new wifey. We got some beautiful shots by the clear lake, which reflected the newlyweds perfectly.
Soon after were the speeches, which were really enjoyable. The rest of the evening entailed a cake cutting, first dance, partying and plenty more drinks under the evening sun.
