Now honestly, when Adam & Rose first expressed interest in booking me as their wedding photographer I was of course really happy, especially as I’d known Rose for a long time, and she is just lovely. But when they e-mailed the details about the venue they had hired, I was super excited. MANCHESTER VICTORIA BATHS. A swimming pool?? Yay for alternative weddings! It’s so great being able to work at different and interesting venues from time-to-time, and I was really interested to see how this one would look on the day. Would they be swimming down the aisle? Would guests be wearing their poshest cossies? Well no, I’m just being silly. The water was drained and decor was added. Rose is a very artistic lady, and thus, a lot of their decorations were home-made. You can see some in her own blog post here! I loved everything about this wedding day. The Under The Sea wedding theme, Rose’s alternative turquoise wedding dress, the unusual venue, heart-felt speeches, the handmade pompom confetti, the look on Adam’s face as he saw his bride-to-be for the first time that day, and so much more. So happy for this adorable and kind-hearted couple.
