“We both absolutely love them. Thank you so much for capturing so many wonderful memories.”
Liam & Felicity had their wedding on a cool October day at York’s Merchant Adventurers’ Hall. This stunning venue is a unique building set in the heart of York city centre. Merchant Adventurers’ Hall is a Grade 1 listed building, built with grand timber frames and has over 660 years of history.
The day began with bridal prep’ at Felicity’s parents’ house. She got ready for the day with her bridal party, as everyone got ready while chatting away and drinking bubbly. Liam meanwhile was nearby with his side of the wedding party, making finishing touches to their outfits before walking over to Merchant Adventurers’ Hall.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Great Hall, where Felicity & Liam exchanged their vows. They had two readings in total, one being from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin about love not being the fire and passion, but the growing together. Felicity “read the book in senior school and it struck her even then, and it seems even more true now”. The second reading was Liam’s choice. Being a science teacher, it was “a selection of writings of scientists he admires”.
The rest of the day was full of so many smiles and heaps of love, with drinks, chatting, speeches, happy tears & laughter and dancing well into the evening. 💙
Notes from the happy couple:
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Why do you like natural wedding photography?
I like the photos to feel real. When I look back or my children, etc, I want them to understand who the people were in the photos. I think natural photography is the way to do that rather than more stiff, formal shots.
Kind words :
We both absolutely love them. Thank you so much for capturing so many wonderful memories.
