Crabwall Manor in Chester hosted the wedding and coming together of the gorgeous Flixx & Sian. The wedding had a unique twist in that it was Peter Pan themed! The amount of detail that went into the day was amazing, and it was a real pleasure to document the day through photos. I spent the majority of the morning with Sian and her bridal party, as they chatted away, laughed, drank champagne and got ready. Each bridesmaid wore a deep purple dress, but put an individual stamp on their look in their own way. Sian wore a beautiful ivory wedding dress and a gorgeous homemade wrist accessory.

Due to current UK laws, the official tying of the knot needed to take place inside Crabwall Manor. It was incredibly adorable as Flixx & Sian tried their best not to look at one another whilst saying their vows so that they could save that first-look moment for when they then moved outside into the gardens. Flixx waited under a huge oak tree for his bride-to-be to make her way over with her dad. She made her way over to the soothing sound of the harpist that was plucking away nearby. The ceremony was wonderful and heartfelt, and the outdoor setting was just lovely.

The beautiful summer weather allowed family & friends to enjoy the woodland setting, as they danced to music and painted using the materials left out for guests. The evening reception took place inside a tipi that stood tall on the grounds a little further down the Crabwall Manor gardens. The wedding breakfast, speeches and thank yous took place inside. By the time all of that had finished, it was still light and warm enough while the sun was setting for guests to relax outside, and for Flixx, Sian & I to have a wander and golden-hour mini-photoshoot. The wedding day ended with lots of dancing and a sparkler send off.
