Charlotte & Sam tied the knot on a chilly October day at Barnsley’s Tankersley Manor. The happy couple chose Tankersley Manor as they wanted to “get married somewhere people could relax for the full day and into the evening.” They also loved the “look and feel of the Crook Barn” for the wedding ceremony.
The day began with hustling and bustling at bridal prep, as Charlotte and her seven (!) bridesmaids got ready together. Charlotte wore a stunning long, white gown, encrusted with diamantes around the waist. Her dark brown hair was tied back into an intricate bun, as the look was completed with a mid-length veil. Meanwhile, her bridesmaids wore navy blue dresses, each a different style of their own choosing.
Shortly before guests started arriving, Sam rocked up to the bar with his team of groomsmen. They had a swift drink before greeting guests and moving on to the ceremony room. The ceremony took place in the Crook Barn, which had been decorated with fairy lights and scattered petals along the walkway.
The ceremony was very sweet, with 2 non-traditional readings being read by close friends. The newlywed couple walked back down the aisle hand-in-hand, as they made their way outside for a little couple shoot and some groups. The atmosphere of the day was bubbly and full of laughter and smiles, which transcended well into the evening, through all the speeches, drinking, photobooth fun and dancing. Such a great day for a lovely couple.
